Abdulrahman Al Rayyan leads Checkmate Government Relations’ Middle East operations, overseeing sovereign advisory, defense sector engagement, and strategic institutional alignment across regional and international government, defense, and multinational corporate environments.

Abdulrahman Al Rayyan is a Middle East–based executive specializing in government relations, sovereign advisory, and defense-sector coordination. His work focuses on facilitating strategic alignment between sovereign institutions, defense stakeholders, and multinational organizations operating across complex geopolitical and commercial environments.

Al Rayyan began his career within his family’s diversified industrial and investment group, where he gained direct operational experience across manufacturing, financial structuring, and infrastructure supply chains. He worked hands-on within core industrial entities including Al Rayyan Block Factories, Al Rayyan Ready Mix, Aqua Tanks manufacturing, AGR industrial operations, and Al Rayyan Auditing & Accountancy, developing foundational expertise in vertically integrated enterprise management and capital-driven industrial ecosystems.

He later expanded into multinational commercial development by establishing Al Bandary Food & Beverage and launching Conowarma, an American-structured franchising platform designed to scale regional hospitality concepts internationally. Under his leadership, multi-brand hospitality operations were developed and managed across Arabic, European, and North American café and restaurant formats, aligning regional cultural identity with international operational standards.

Al Rayyan subsequently entered the defense and sovereign advisory sector, supporting institutional coordination initiatives involving senior United States defense leadership, aviation engineering organizations, and regional defense stakeholders. His work included collaboration with U.S.-based aviation engineering firms specializing in advanced helicopter modernization, including Blackhawk aviation platforms, as well as facilitating strategic engagement initiatives involving defense intermediary organizations and multinational defense stakeholders.

In addition to his operational and defense-sector experience, Al Rayyan has participated in multinational investment structuring, sovereign advisory initiatives, and institutional mediation involving stakeholders across the United States, Europe, China, and the Gulf region. His professional network spans government institutions, sovereign wealth entities, defense organizations, and multinational corporations.
